Rate My Ride Wednesdays Roundup: Vintage White Mustang Zooms Ahead of the Pack
Once in a while, we come across real gems here in our Rate My Ride Wednesdays Roundup. We had one of those gems last week–a vintage 1966 Ford Mustang from Tyler Scarborough. This pony is among the earliest produced by Ford–the Mustang debuted in 1964. This Mustang is actually first generation car–the 1966 model had moderate trim changes including a new grille, side ornamentation, wheel covers and gas cap. Tyler Scarborough’s Mustang racked up an average rating of 8.4 to become last week’s champ.
Not far behind is another excellent specimen, a split bumper 1970 Chevrolet Camaro. Now, fans were on the fence with the styling (There’s toy glued on the hood. Go figure!) and the reception was mixed. Still, Shawn Needham’s vintage Camaro sped away with second place (average rating of 7.46). One thing we all love here is power and brawn–and Dakotah Daker’s 1999 Chevy K1500 has it, allowing it to take third place (average rating of 6.7).
Meanwhile, Joaquin’s Dodge Charger Hemi is at fourth place (average rating of 6.3). To round it all up, another Tyler with another Mustang got the short end of the stick last week, Tyler Knowlton’s Ford Mustang V6 got an average rating of 4.1.
