1. Toyota Camry

Reliable and sleek-looking—these are the characteristics that make the Toyota Camry a hit. These may also be the reasons why it’s among the vehicles that car thieves love to steal. In fact, there were around 15,000 reported thefts of the Toyota Camry last year.

2. Chevrolet Pickup

More than 27,000 units of Chevrolet Pickup were reportedly stolen last year. With its impressive performance and roomy design, it’s not surprising that this vehicle is one of the car thieves’ favorite models.

3. Ford Pickup

The Ford Pickup is considered as one of the best-selling vehicles in the USA. The high demand for this truck makes it easier for car thieves to sell it to unsuspecting buyers. There were around 29,000 reported thefts of this automobile unit.

4. Honda Civic

The Civic is easily one of the most popular cars in the automotive market today, which is probably the reason why a lot of car thieves want to get their hands on it. In 2015, there were more than 49,000 reported thefts of this car.

5. Honda Accord

The Honda Accord has been in production for more than four decades and it has continuously topped the lists of the most stolen vehicles over the past years. With a whopping 52,000 reported thefts, the Accord is undoubtedly a car thief’s favorite.
