Using a Pantyhose as a Fan Belt and Other Insane Car Hacks
In an ideal world, car mechanics will just be a call away when your car breaks down… Or you won’t be so busy and can take your ride to the shop as soon as you encounter problems. And yes, car repairs and replacement parts will be really affordable.
Unfortunately, that isn’t always the case in the real world. And there are times when all you can rely on are your DIY expertise–or lack thereof–when dealing with car problems. Sometimes you end up proud of your accomplishments. Other times, well, you can only hope your car will still run after what you did.
We found some unusual DIY car hacks that may or may not be helpful during road crisis. Check these out and be the judge:

This one is probably a last resort kind of thing, but some people actually swear by this car hack. Not sure how far you can go with this before your car totally conks out, though.
(2) A shoe as an alternative to cup holder

We might actually try this if the need arises, but we’d use a cleaner shoe.
(3) Seat warmer as pizza warmer

Hot and fresh, straight from your car seat!
(4) Razor blade for removing bug splatters on the windshield

Would you have the courage to try this?
(5) Windshield washer as water dispenser inside the car

Possible, yes. But would the water be safe for drinking? Try this at your own risk.
(6) Using shoelace to unlock your car
This might actually be helpful if you get locked out of your car, but we hope no car thief will ever get the chance to watch this.
