Car Interiors That You’ll Either Love or Hate

By on November 25, 2014

It’s not just the exterior that gets to have all the thrill, passion, romance, and excitement—the sharp edges and soft curves, the jazzy trims and kick-ass grilles, and all of the boom and the pow. The insides of the car matter, too. And we’re not just talking about comfort and ergonomic support, easy-to-reach buttons, automated controls, or full-featured dashboards. We’re looking here at the eye-popping details of some of the intricately designed car interiors. Some of them may be downright outrageous, but there are those that actually work even if they’ve gone a little way overboard. They can be a beast or a real beauty, depending on the details.

Here are some car interiors that you’ll either love or hate:

These car interiors can be wild, gaudy, and flashy, but one thing they can never be is bland, too safe, and boring…

Didn’t they say that orange is the new black?

The black and orange is an interesting color mix. We’ll give you that. While the interior of the Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid may seem too “orange” for some, you can’t deny that this makes the cabin “eye-popping.”

Does blue and yellow make you think of LEGO?

This Porsche Panamera definitely has a wild (in)side. The blue and yellow mix does a lot of things. Yes, it’s loud, but this can also be bold and exciting for a sports car.

And now, you’re seeing red?

We can’t blame you if you’re seeing red here. The colored interior truly is captivating. But aside from the red and black color scheme, this Audi R8 V10 Spyder also gives you aluminum pedals and footrests, illuminated strips for door entry, and don’t forget, those awesome seats!

The car interior can be all bright in yellow,

And can go all white (with a tinge of pink).

Or, try to be cool even with just a slight blue.

And then there are those tricked-out car seats…

If you have a thing for sci-fi movies, then you’ll love the seats of this Lamborghini.

The seats of the Lamborghini Urus Concept are like the ones you can see in a spaceship.

Soft, curvy, and definitely sporty!

This Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster gives you stitched carbon fiber-spined seats.

Instead of the usual car seats, you get pods in this Infiniti concept car!

What made the interior of the Infiniti Essence unique and futuristic are the individual driver and passenger pods.

Not sure how you’ll feel about a car interior that’s blatantly orange and dimpled!

But even though this may look stiff with its natural wood accents, the seats in the Rolls-Royce Bel Air are actually real soft.

Some car interiors try to look fancy with some blings.

This mahogany and gold is one good example:

This Bugatti Veyron gets all flashy and glittery on the inside.

Good to know that this steering wheel with rocker switches is not all show. It’s ergonomically designed, too. The interior, with carbon fittings and grained leather, also has LED lights in the dash, seats, and door linings, giving the cabin a soft glow.

You may have some mixed feelings about this custom red and gold on the Mercedes McLaren SLR.

It gets as crazy as having more than 600 rubies in the car interior alone. While the steering wheel is gold trimmed, the switchgear is covered with rubies and the indicators are adorned with jewels.

Stars in the night sky—that’s what these optic lights on a Rolls Royce actually look like.

Some interiors may not have loud colors but can go as wild as having crocodile, snake, or even ostrich leather.

Would you like some crocodile belly, snake, ostrich, and whale penis for your car seat leather and trim?

The 2013 DARTZ Black Snake has these exotic leather choices.

Some may say that these are a bit of an overkill, but if you’re into anything branded and luxurious, you might find these interiors quite interesting, to say the least:
