Rate My Ride Wednesdays Roundup: Sleek and Classy ’71 Chevelle is our Champ
The Chevrolet Chevelle is one of the most beloved muscle cars introduced in 1963. In 1971, the model received a fresh restyling especially in the front. These new styling cues included a large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a new grille and bumper design, and integral park/signal/marker lights. Meanwhile, dual round taillights were integrated into the back bumper.
The refreshed design gave this beloved car an iconic look that transcends years. It still looks fabulous. This is especially true for last week’s Rate My Ride Wednesdays, where Josh Quick’s 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle got the highest average votes (9.4).
A handsome and sturdy 1979 Ford F-150 from Adrian Villalobos wasn’t far behind, taking the second spot with an average rating of 9.16. Meanwhile, Joe Kleer’s spiffy 1986 Jeep Comanche is at third with 8.7. The gleaming blue 1967 Volkswagen Beetle from Kyle Moore was our fourth placer with a score of 8.4.
The brawny duo of a 1994 Jeep Wrangler and a Samurai is at fifth place with an average score of 7.2. A 1982 Ford Bronco from Darren Fuller came in at sixth with a score of 7.05. Completing our roundup is James Turner’s white sedan, which garnered an average rating of 4.
