Cars We Wish Were Still Made Today
Car models and name plates come and go. There are some that have stood the test of time and continue to be made generation after generation, while some have been discontinued. It could be because of disappointing sales, bad performance, or some other reason. Of course, just because a car has been discontinued doesn’t mean it can’t be revived, right?
Here are some of discontinued car models we wish were still made today:
- Pontiac Firebird
Source: Wikipedia
This may be tough considering Pontiac itself has been put out to pasture, but we’d still love for this to happen. We’ve already had two new generations of the Camaro, maybe we can get a new Firebird, too? Pretty please, GM?
- Cadillac CTS-V Wagon
Source: Wikipedia
It’s a wagon that will make some sportscars eat their dust. It’s the perfect combination of sporty and practical. Why it didn’t catch on will always remain a mystery to us, but we want it back!
- Honda S2000
Source: Wikipedia
We love the new Miata, but we think a little competition in its segment would be great. Honda can fill that void. More cars like the S2000 instead of the CR-Z, please!
- Ford Bronco
Source: Wikipedia
Ah, the truck pretty much everybody watched being chased around by cops (if you don’t get this, you’re probably too young). Of course, we don’t just remember it because of that incident. It was a pretty fun vehicle, and we think it would fit right into today’s market that seems to be obsessed with crossovers and small trucks. Also, the Jeep Wrangler could really use some competition.

Everything we said about the Bronco (except for the part about the chase.) applies to the Blazer.
And there you go. Those are just some discontinued models we wish were still around today. Can you think of any other ones? Do tell us in the comments!
