Cars That You Won’t Believe Actually Exist
Out of the thousands of vehicles that roll out of the factory, not all turn out to be as great as what the designers imagine them to be. Some have gone too far and tried too hard. With wild imaginations and minds filled with innovations, they’ve come up with driving machines that are stranger than fiction. Here’s our short list of weird cars that you won’t believe actually exist.
This obnoxious fat car

This is a botched-up car cosmetic surgery right here! It looks like the car has been injected with too much collagen.

The car with a big mouth

Be careful when checking under the hood. This car may just swallow you whole.
A lace-up brown leather shoe for a car

While this is definitely weird, this is also quite brilliant. The car looks exactly like a giant leather shoe. But we have one question here: how are you supposed to drive it without a windscreen?
A beer can that turned into a car

You have to resist drinking while driving this one.
A UFO clunker on the road

This looks like the stuff ET would drive on Earth some 50 years ago.
A rolling yoyo

Do they expect us to roll like a hamster in a ball with this one-wheeled electric car aptly called eRinGo?
The bug with a jet engine tail

This is a street-legal jet car. This modified VW bug will give you a blast on the highway, but sad to say, the large tail sticking out of its bum makes this ride quite hard to take seriously.
A car with a dance club inside
Source: Oddee
The Honda Fuya Jo is built for party animals. It has a dance club theme going on inside, with a dash that’s designed to look like a DJ mixing desk and a steering wheel that resembles a turntable. But this concept car doesn’t look anything like a cool party bus you’d desperately hop into.
Conjoined twins

We’re not sure if the 1998 Fiat Multipla is supposed to be a fusion of sorts. It looks like another car crashed on top and then gelled with the bottom car below. We don’t really know what the designer was thinking.
A gold truck without doors

The 1965 Dodge Deodora is a collector’s dream, but you can’t deny that this real-life Hot Wheels pickup truck is still a strange thing. It doesn’t have the conventional side doors but instead have a forward-opening glass hatch that you can usually find at the back of a station wagon.

Cars with multiple personalities

Half car-half yacht. You’re not really sure what it’s trying to be.

Up, up, and away! Can this car slash helicopter actually take off and escape the heavy traffic? If it can, then we’ll excuse this thing for looking drab and shabby.
The Python

The wild prints aren’t exactly a charmer. Even Indiana Jones would be scared to drive this thing.
A car with bat wings

Batman would be ashamed to step into this tiny mobile with bat wings. It also seems more fit for a villain.
Pinocchio turned car

Nice try! But maybe we should just stick to steel, aluminum, plastic, fiberglass, and carbon fiber for the auto body.

A car with middle-life crisis

If a car can have mid-life crisis, this is what it would probably look like.
A moping CitiCar

This Sebring-Vanguard CitiCar is actually an electric vehicle, although it looks more like a tent.
A three-wheeled boat-bottom car

This one is called the Bond Bug. But James Bond wouldn’t be caught dead riding this driving machine, which looks like it was cut right in half.
A car that looks like your big toe

Why do electric cars from ages ago (like this Corbin Sparrow) have to look this weird? That we couldn’t understand.
A car that’s shaped like an egg

How these two can fit in this really small car is beyond us. Can they still breathe or move their legs inside? How fast can this go?
A one-man driving machine
Source: Flickr
It could have 99 or a hundred other problems. But parking ain’t one.
Literally, a motorcycle with a side CAR!
Source: yousaytoo
This is a weird couple right here. We don’t know which one can drive the whole thing. Is it the motorcycle or the car flanked at its side?
A bare-naked Beetle
Source: Pinterest
This one will definitely catch the eye of the passers-by. How could it not if its insides are out for everyone to see? Who wouldn’t want to take a peek?
A bizarre three-wheeler in mint green
Source: Edmunds
This is a 1947 Davis D-2 Divan. It tried to make three-wheelers a cool driving machine, but it failed to hit mainstream as the company eventually went out of business.
The Reliant Robin
There’s a reason why three wheels didn’t become a thing. You just have to watch this to find out why:
