Rate My Ride Wednesdays Roundup: Classic Chevys and Ford Trucks Slug It Out for the Top Spot
With a varied roster of rides up for rating in this week’s Rate My Ride Wednesdays, it could be anybody’s ball game. This week’s rides are pretty interesting too. We’ve got two classic cars (in different stages of either disrepair or restoration), two pickups, and two Jeeps. Who’s going to win this week’s bragging rights as top ride? Let’s check out the results.
Robert’s 1987 Ford F-150 looks fantastic, still with its original paint. No wonder our Facebook members rewarded it with high scores. It was able to garner an average score of 8.8, allowing it to take the top spot in our roundup. Giving the ’87 F-150 a good fight is David’s old Chevy, which despite its rundown state was able to get a score of 8.5. We’ll all be looking forward to updates on its restoration. It may look a little worse for wear but Jeff’s 1967 Chevrolet Impala Fastback still commands respect. It was able to get an average score of 8.1. We think it will score higher if it gets restored, no? Two Jeeps came in at third and fourth place respectively: Chris’s Jeep got an average score of 6.84 and Rob’s 2009 Jeep Wrangler received a score of 6.2. Completing our roundup is Gary’s Ford Truck, which got a score of 5.8
